Musicals Review:

Wicked
I went to see Wicked last night in the West End of London! I've been a massive fan for ages, knowing every lyric and the whole story line backwards and I had extremely high expectations from my favourite musical... and I was blown away by Alexia Khadime and Diana Pilkintons amazing performance and the quality of costumes and set design, not to mention the fabulous orchestra, the rest of the cast and the amazing score and songs by Stephen Schwartz, I can't wait to read Gregory McGuires novel! It forfilled every one of my expectations and was a hundred times better than the outstanding CD with Idina Menzel and Christine Chenoweth, there was so much more emotion and emphasis, the whole story really came together! 5 star! *****

About Us

Talk Musicals was created by Kevin Roxburgh and Stuart Roxburgh.

We are a family team who have pooled our knowledge of websites and musicals to create, what I hope will become, the most comprehensive Musicals site available. With my passion for all things Musical, and Kevin's super website design skills, we wanted to give the world a chance to use a site to which you have control.

It all started when I was chatting (and yes… I admit it…. bragging) about how many times I'd seen certain musicals and whom I'd seen in the leading roles. The conversation got quite silly and I couldn't keep up with the figure of 28 times for one particular musical my friend had seen (including once in Hong Kong and once in the U.S!). It made me realise that us Musical fans are obsessed with telling each other (ok… bragging) about the musicals we have seen and what we think of them. Its amazing that something I may have seen 10 times is hated by the next guy!

I expressed my need for a website to discuss these sorts of things to Kevin and within a flash… hey presto! here it is. A website designed with you (and me) in mind!

We hope you enjoy it and join in the fun.
